Does the recruiter pay, or sign in?
Neither, ever. The link opens in a tap on any phone, with no account and no app. A wall in front of the person reading your answers would make the link worthless to put on a résumé.
Do I get scored or coached if I spend more?
No. Firsthand does not grade you at any price. There is no tier where an AI starts having opinions about you — that is a product principle, not a feature held back for an upsell.
What does it cost to keep my link up?
From $2.99 a month, which is all it costs if you are done recording and just want the link on your résumé to work. Two tiers above that fold a monthly allowance of conversations into the same subscription while you are actively recording, and you move back down in one click when you are not. Conversations can also be bought outright in packs, and those never expire.
What happens to my pages if I stop paying?
If you cancel, we email you a week before the plan actually ends. When it does — or if a renewal fails — pages are archived rather than deleted, and restarting restores them in one click. If it is the conversations you are done with rather than the links, moving down to the $2.99 tier keeps everything up. Your audio and transcripts export at any time, free, on any plan, including after you leave.
Is my résumé published anywhere?
No part of a résumé ever reaches a published page. We read it to find the work worth interviewing you about and to ask sharper questions. Signed in, one copy is kept on your account so the next session can skip the upload — and you can remove it whenever you like.
